HUD homes for sale in Colorado
HUD inventory turns over constantly and it is never in one tidy list for long. What matters more than the list is knowing which city to watch, what the bidding window looks like, and whether the house is a fixer you can finance. Start with your city.
Call or text 303-955-4220 and a live person answers. Not a robot, not a phone tree.
Owner-occupants get priority
If you will live in it, you bid before investors do. That head start is the whole reason to chase a HUD home.
Bids close on a schedule
Not first come, first served. HUD opens a window, reviews everything at once, takes the best net return.
Sold as-is, always
HUD repairs nothing and will not drop the price for what an inspection finds. Inspect anyway. Always.
One loan covers both
A 203(k) rolls the purchase and the work into a single mortgage. It is how most of these actually get bought.

Pick your city
Each one covers what actually comes up there, what it tends to cost, and what to watch before you bid.
- HUD homes in Lakewood — Older ranches and condos near Green Mountain and Belmar. Where a lot of west-metro first-time buyers actually find something.
- HUD homes in Aurora — The largest pool of entry-level inventory in the metro, and the shortest commute to the Tech Center for the money.
- HUD homes in Arvada — Older housing stock near Olde Town. Smaller lots, real character, the kind of house a 203(k) was built for.
- HUD homes in Thornton — North metro growth corridor. Newer than most HUD inventory and close to the N Line.
- HUD homes in Westminster — The midpoint between Boulder and downtown. People buy here for the position as much as the price.
- HUD homes in Commerce City — Budget-friendly and close to DIA. Often the lowest entry price of anywhere on this list.
- HUD homes in Brighton — Newer subdivision homes on bigger lots, north of the old town core. Metro district fees are the thing to price in.
- HUD homes in Littleton — Older ranches and split-levels in established neighborhoods, close in and under what the same street costs in Highlands Ranch.
- HUD homes in Denver — Most inventory comes from far northeast Denver. Central Denver almost never. The most competitive bidding in the metro.
- HUD homes in Parker — Rare. Newer two-stories in HOA subdivisions, priced under the neighborhood, with the FHA loan limit as the real ceiling.
- HUD homes in Castle Rock — Planned-community homes along I-25. Works if your job is on the corridor. Metro district plus HOA is the honest monthly.
- HUD homes in Centennial — Two Centennials: 1970s stock west of I-25, newer subdivisions east. Ten minutes from the Tech Center either way.
- HUD homes in Highlands RanchHUD homes in GreeleyHUD homes in Johnstown — Consistent planned-community housing under one association. Scarce, and it does not sit.
- HUD homes in Englewood — The oldest stock on this site: 1940s-60s bungalows and ranches on the light rail. Where a 203(k) earns its keep.
