How to read it
What the numbers mean
Net to HUD
The accepted bid minus the closing costs and broker compensation the buyer asked HUD to pay. It is what HUD actually keeps, and it is how HUD ranks bids.
List price
The last price HUD listed the home at before the bid. The percentage shows how close the winning bid came to list.
Buyer
Owner-occupant or investor, as HUD reports it. Owner-occupants get the first window to bid on most HUD homes.
Use it to bid smarter
How bid results help you win a HUD home
Find comparables
Look for accepted bids on homes like the one you want, in the same county and price range.
Check the percentage
See how far over or under list winning bids landed, then price your own bid.
Watch the timing
Bids accepted on the first day of a listing period mean the home drew strong demand.
Mind the requests
Asking HUD to pay closing costs lowers your net to HUD. Ask only for what you need.
Bid through us
We submit your bid on HUD Home Store as a HUD-registered broker, before the deadline.

Quick answers
Questions people ask.
What does net to HUD mean?
It is the bid price minus the closing costs and broker compensation the buyer asked HUD to pay. HUD compares bids by their net to HUD, so a lower price with fewer requests can beat a higher price.
Where can I see HUD bid results?
HUD Home Store posts accepted bids for 14 days after a home goes under contract, then removes them. This page keeps every Colorado result we capture, updated twice a day.
Who wins HUD bids in Colorado?
The table shows whether each winning bid came from an owner-occupant or an investor. During the owner-occupant priority period, HUD only accepts bids from buyers who will live in the home, plus eligible nonprofits and government buyers.
Is an accepted HUD bid a closed sale?
No. An accepted bid is a signed contract. Cash purchases close in about 30 days and financed purchases in about 45, and some fall through and come back on the market.
How do I bid on a HUD home?
Through a HUD-registered broker with a NAID, like The Kenna Group. We check the bid history on similar homes, write the bid with you and submit it on HUD Home Store before the deadline.
